国际旅游联合会  INTRODUCTON TO THE ELITES AWARD

      国际旅游联合会是在法国海外科学院院长皮尔里约特先生的倡议下于1967 年由戴高乐将军督办创立的，其总部设在法国巴黎，在欧洲、美洲、亚洲等地的32 个国家都设有分会或代表处。长期以来，国际旅游联合会致力于国际旅游业服务标准方面的制定和规范，致力于促进国际旅游行业的合作和交流，致力于国际旅游事业的发展和提升。现任主席埃里克 杜吕克先生受到前国家主席胡锦涛主席接见，国际旅游联合会的颁奖活动具有国际权威性和影响力，前国家旅游局局长何光伟接受国际旅游金星奖；驻法国大使馆前大使吴建民、大使赵进军先生先后被国际旅游联合会授予金质荣誉奖章。 国际旅游联合会重视与中国旅游行业的交流与合作，支持并努力推动中国与国际旅游行业的发展。

      International Tourism Federation(ITF) was founded in 1967 under the proposition of Mr. Pierre Rijo Te，President of Académie des sciences d'outre-mer and the supervision of General Charles de Gaulle. Headquartered in Paris, France, it has chapters or representative offices in thirty-two countries of Europe, America, Asia, etc. For a long time, the ITF has been committed in formulating and standardizing international tourism service criteria, facilitating cooperation and exchanges of the international tourism industry and improving the international tourism
undertaking. Current chairman of the ITF, Mr.Eric Duluc has been received by former Chinese President Hu Jintao, and its awarding ceremony is of international authority and influence, former director of China’s National Tourism Administration He Guangwei have received the International Turism Golden Star Award; besides, former Chinese ambassadors of the French Embassy Wu Jianmin and Zhao Jinjun have also received gold medal of honor awarded by the Federation.
      The ITF has all along attached great importance to the communication and cooperation with the Chinese tourism industry, and supported and promoted  the development of both Chinese and international tourism industry.
